Membership Court Bookings: Important Information

Using your membership to book courts for unauthorised coaching is strictly prohibited and constitutes a serious violation of our Terms of Service.

As the booking holder, you are responsible for all playing partners on your court. You may not book a court for the purpose of receiving coaching from, or providing coaching to, an unauthorised third party.

For the purpose of these terms, a "structured lesson" or "unauthorised coaching" is defined as, but not limited to, the following activities:

• Private lessons: A structured one-on-one session where one person provides instruction to another.
• Group sessions: Any session involving two or more players receiving instruction from a coach.
• Specialised equipment: The use of coaching aids such as ball baskets, ball tubes, or ball machines.

A "social hit" is defined as a recreational game of tennis between friends or family members for personal enjoyment, without the elements of a structured lesson or commercial activity.

Monitoring & Enforcement

We actively monitor booking patterns to ensure fair and reasonable access to our facilities for all members. This includes reviewing:

• Daily bookings: Multiple bookings made by the same account or group of accounts on a single day.
• Recurring patterns: Repeated bookings at the same time over multiple weeks.
• Suspicious behaviour: Any other booking activity that suggests the commercial use of a membership.

Should a member be found providing coaching services or reserving courts for lessons with coaches not affiliated with City Community Tennis, their membership will be cancelled immediately. All subsequent court bookings will be subject to the non-member rate.

To ensure fair access to our facilities for all members, only City Community Tennis coaches are permitted to provide coaching services at the following locations:

• Alexandria Park Tennis Courts, Alexandria
• Beaconsfield Park Tennis Courts, Beaconsfield
• St James Park Tennis Courts, Glebe
• Turruwul Park Tennis Courts, Rosebery
• Prince Alfred Park Tennis Courts, Surry Hills
