The health and safety of our staff and the community is our number one priority. We are a registered COVID safe business and all changes to our COVID Safety Plan and booking rules must be approved by the City of Sydney Council. With respect to any recent changes to restrictions by the NSW Government, we are unable to change any of the following player rules at the moment and thank you for your cooperation and support in continuing to:
maintain physical distance where required
use hand sanitiser before entering the courts
follow additional booking rules below
Booking Rules
Do NOT play at the facilities or attend group events if you have COVID, are waiting for a COVID test result or if you are a close contact/or live with someone who has COVID or who is waiting for a COVID test result (we will credit your bookings if you have to cancel due to COVID)
Do NOT play at the facilities or attend group events if you have hay fever or any other respiratory symptoms which are similar to COVID (please do a COVID test)
Non authorised tennis coaches are NOT permitted to teach on or book City Community Tennis courts without prior written consent. Coaches booking the courts for private enterprise without authorisation are trespassing and relevant authorities will be notified.
General Play
Vaccinated or unvaccinated players permitted
Maximum 4 players per court
Same 4 players for the entire booking
Please arrive dressed, ready to play and follow the 'Play & Go Rule'
Please finish your booking on time
No social gatherings permitted on the tennis courts
Ensure physical distancing of at least 1.5 metres between people that do not come from the same household

Additional Safety Plan Booking Rules for Children
Children under 16 years of age can be vaccinated and we strongly recommend this to ensure the safety of our staff and other visitors to the tennis facilities. If a child has cold or flu-like symptoms, they are not permitted to visit the facilities.They must stay home and follow the steps from a doctor and if need be, get tested for COVID 19. If your child becomes unwell please call or email the office to cancel their lesson. Children will need a medical clearance to return to tennis.
Children must arrive dressed to train and then head home after the lesson
Parents are permitted to stay but are not permitted inside the tennis court
Parents and children must maintain 1.5 metres between other parents & children
All children need to bring their own racquet each week

Equipment used by coaches will be disinfected before and after lessons
Children must hand sanitise before going to court
Coaches have hand sanitiser available or bring your own
Children can use the toilets but need to be escorted by a parent/guardian
Children must wait outside the courts until their coach invites them inside
Please arrive on time so classes can start and end on time
Coaches will end the lesson a few minutes before the advertised end time to allow for picking up balls and children exiting the court
Children must not shake hands or high five at the end of the lesson, instead they should touch racquets or can wave their hands/racquets in the air
Additional Information
City Community Tennis are City of Sydney Council facilities. We are a registered COVID safe business and have an approved COVID Safety Plan. Any changes to the plan must be approved by the City of Sydney Council.
Please have a COVID test if you have any symptoms of a respiratory illness
Players and staff are excluded from City Community Tennis facilities if they have COVID, are self-isolating and waiting for a COVID test result, have symptoms of a flu, cold or any respiratory symptoms.
We are continuing to implement additional COVID cleaning procedures.

Maximum 2 hour court booking per player allowed per day
If any player in your booking party shows up with a flu, cold or any respiratory symptom on the date of the booking they are not permitted to play and must be sent home
Players can only enter the court when their booking commences using PIN code
Use a tissue or glove to enter PIN codes on the security gate for additional safety
Enter and leave courts on time, wait for previous players to exit before entering
No hand shaking, high fives or physical contact (touch racquets allowed)
