Weeknight Competitions

Doubles & Singles Format
Our in-house combined doubles and singles social competitions are are a great way to improve your tennis and meet new people. Depending on your playing standard competition is played on either a Monday, Tuesday & Thursday evening at Prince Alfred Park Tennis Courts in Surry Hills. Competitions are held throughout the year: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter generally played over an 8 week period which includes Semis & Finals.

Club Singles Ladder

For those who enjoy Singles
A fantastic avenue for advancing someone’s playing ability, the Singles Ladder is only available to members. Jensen’s assists players to organise singles games with other players of their level and players just share the court hire costs and the purchase of new tennis balls.  We currently have over a 100 people on the Ladder, of varying levels, who are ranked according to the International Tennis Federation (ITF), International Tennis Number (ITN).  People use the Ladder as a means of advancing their level of play for other competitions, tournaments or just for recreational play and to find a regular hitting partner.

Easterns Suburb Tennis Association Competitions

ESTA Sunday morning Inter-Club Competition
If you are interested in inter-club competition on a Sunday morning Jensen’s enters teams in the Eastern Suburbs Tennis Association (ESTA) Competition throughout the year: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter Competitions which are played over a 12 week period including Semis & Finals.

Sydney Badge Competition

Saturday Inter-Club Competition
Sydney Badge Tennis aims to provide across the Sydney Metropolitan area professionally managed, highly competitive tennis events which satisfy the needs of tennis organisations and players.

The competitions aim to serve the needs of the sport to provide challenges and incentives to players to develop their skills in a competitive, but social environment. The competitions seek to support all existing tennis organisations by maximising the use of established local facilities of Clubs, Associations and Independent Operators with the main aim to ‘Grow the Game’
