Keegan Oh’Chee with former World No. 2 Mick Connell

Friday, 30 November to Sunday, 2 December

We were proud to be able to showcase some of Australia’s best wheelchair athletes for this prestigious ITF tennis event at the Prince Alfred Park tennis courts!

Congratulations to Mick Connell who won this year’s Singles title! Mick coaches down at City Community Tennis Prince Alfred Park courts.

The NEC Metro Open is the last of three ITF wheelchair tennis tournaments was organised by Wheelchair Sports NSW (WSNSW). WSNSW has chose City Community Tennis Prince Alfred Park tennis centre not only because it is a state of the art facility but also due the tennis centre’s prime location in Sydney. The amount of people visiting the centre means it is perfect tennis centre to host this prestigious tournament.

This is an annual event in December and we look forward to more of the community coming down next year particularly as the event is held in conjunction with International Day of People with a Disability.
