We are proud to be hosting the NEC Metropolitan Open at the Prince Alfred Park tennis courts.
The NEC Metro Open is the last of three ITF wheelchair tennis tournaments organised by Wheelchair Sports NSW (WSNSW). WSNSW has chosen the City Community Tennis centre at Prince Alfred Park not only because it is a state of the art facility but also due the tennis centre’s prime location in Sydney. The amount of people visiting the centre means it is perfect to showcase the best of disability sport and wheelchair tennis as well as encouraging people to find out more about these talented athletes particularly as the event is part of International Day of People with a Disability.
It is sure to be a quality tournament as players attempt to make a lasting impression ahead of the Apia Wheelchair International Sydney.
Preliminary rounds will be played on Saturday the 1st while the finals are scheduled for Sunday the 2nd of December.
