Members’ Singles Ladder
For those who enjoy Singles, the Members’ Singles Ladder is perfect for you!
A fantastic avenue for advancing someone’s playing ability, the Singles Ladder is only available to members. Jensen’s assists players to organise singles games with other players of their level and players just share the court hire costs and the purchase of new tennis balls. We currently have over a 100 people on the Ladder, of varying levels, who are ranked according to the International Tennis Federation (ITF), International Tennis Number (ITN). People use the Ladder as a means of advancing their level of play for other competitions, tournaments or just for recreational play and to find a regular hitting partner.

Jensen’s maintains and asks players to abide by a comprehensive set of rules for the Ladder to make things easy for players and to prevent the occasional tantrum as tennis can be an emotional game and we like to keep our Ladder fun!
Rankings are posted on Face Book and the Ladder Coordinator sends regular emails to players as well as organising special Ladder Competition mornings amongst groups of players of a similar standing.

If players would like to join the Ladder or if they have questions after joining they are invited to contact the club in person, over the phone or fill out the online enquiry form.
By participating in the Ladder, all players must agree to abide by the Ladder Rules as well as the Jensen’s Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct or their ongoing participation in the ladder (which is updated each month) will not be renewed.
The Ladder is open to all members of the community and matches players based on ability not on any personal background. We encourage players identify their cultural backgrounds as a way of promoting international exchange and to celebrate the cultural diversity existing in our tennis community.
In the Members’ Singles Ladder: participants challenge each other and work their way up the ranking while improving their game; and games are played at times that suit participants – simply share the costs of court hire and purchase of tennis balls.
For more information on participating in competitions and tournaments please contact staff in person at our Prince Alfred Park tennis centre office on 9698 9451 or fill out the online enquiry form
